Technical Managers Scheme
The Technical Manager’s Scheme is a programme of full day workshops focusing on unit management covering technical pig knowledge with business and leadership skills. The course is designed to build on the knowledge and skills needed for managing a unit and team day to day.
The course is designed to be interactive, allowing participants to share knowledge, experience and issues amongst the group. Sessions are delivered by specialists and is aimed at head stockpeople, department or unit managers.
Course participants will receive a certificate of attendance from AHDB Pork.

When do courses run?
Courses run as six full-day sessions from 10am-5pm and delivered from autumn to spring usually from December to June. We are not running the course at present, however, if you are interested in taking part in a future course, get in touch with Emily Boyce.
What will the course cost?
The full course cost to levy payers is £225+VAT which includes all workshops, lunch at each session and course folders. The full course cost is £750, however all courses and sessions are 70% subsidised by AHDB Pork.
