How to report a case of Swine Dysentery to AHDB

Once confirmed by a positive PCR result, your vet should report a case of Swine Dysentery to us. This can be done in one of two ways:

  1. Logging into Pig Hub and completing the vet survey. Instructions on how to do this can be found here 
  1. Via email to providing the following details:
    • Name of unit
    • Herd mark
    • Type of unit
    • Confirmation of positive PCR
    • Planned actions for control e.g.: medication, depopulation, etc.
    • Confirmation that the producer agrees to the information being shared
    • Vet name and contact telephone number
